Bangladesh sealed a commanding 2-0 lead in the three-match T20I series against the Netherlands with a dominant nine-wicket win in the second game at Sylhet on Monday, September 1. The victory, achieved with 41 balls to spare, came as a perfect tune-up for the upcoming Asia Cup, with Nasum Ahmed’s incisive bowling and Tanzid Hasan’s fluent batting powering the hosts to yet another comfortable result.
Put in to bowl first, Bangladesh’s spinners and pacers combined to dismantle the Dutch batting line-up for just 103 in 17.3 overs. Left-arm spinner Nasum Ahmed was the chief destroyer, returning figures of 3 for 21 and earning the Player of the Match award.
