Soha Ali Khan recently opened up about her equation with her brother Saif Ali Khan in a new interview. The actress revealed that while they never really had a strong connection growing up, things have changed for the better now.
‘We didn’t really have that connection growing up’
Reflecting on her childhood, Soha recalled how the age gap and circumstances kept them from bonding early on. “I was in boarding school in London, so we didn’t really have that connection growing up in the way that we do now. When you’re 5 years old and your brother is 14 or 15, what are you really going to talk about?” she shared with Instant Bollywood.
On how the bond changed
According to Soha, the shift happened once they started living closer. “Now we speak to each other. Just being in the same city and having that proximity and time made a difference,” she said.

‘He is special and unique’
Soha admitted that her perspective on Saif has also evolved over the years. “Now it’s great because I really feel that he is special and unique, and his take on things is very refreshing. I find that very helpful,” she said.
Saif as the go-to for advice
What Soha values most is her brother’s counsel on relationships. “Especially relationship advice, because I think he has significant experience when it comes to these things, and it’s useful. I can benefit from that,” she added.
